WWE's newest sensation, Meghan Walker, is already making waves despite her limited time in the ring. The rookie, who signed a developmental deal in 2025, has quickly become a fan favorite, and her latest Instagram post has sent social media into overdrive.
Walker, born Alix Brooks, was a standout track athlete at Nebraska before joining the WWE. Her athletic background is impressive: she was a two-time South Dakota state champion at Brandon Valley High School and later competed for the Cornhuskers' track team. This pedigree is exactly what WWE looks for when scouting new talent.
Triple H, WWE's head of talent relations, has been vocal about the company's strategy to recruit athletes from other sports. "We've put a lot of effort into recruiting athletes and finding athletes to let them know WWE is a potentially lucrative opportunity for them if they're interested and passionate about it," he said, referencing Walker's NIL deal, via Sportskeeda.
This week, Walker posted a series of swimsuit photos on Instagram, and the reaction was explosive. Fans flooded the comments with praise, with one writing, "She broke the internet again." Another gushed, "OMG you are perfect." A third fan noted, "Cowgirl looks good on you," while another simply declared, "Absolutely gorgeous."
The buzz is reminiscent of other viral moments in sports, like when Stephanie Vaquer's swimsuit selfie sparked a frenzy or when Paige Spiranac's camo bikini photo broke the internet. Walker's post is quickly joining those ranks, showcasing her growing influence beyond the ring.
While the WWE has not announced when Walker will make her main roster debut, she is already amassing a massive following online. Her social media presence is a testament to her appeal, blending athleticism, charisma, and a connection with fans that is rare for a newcomer.
Walker's journey from track star to WWE hopeful is a compelling narrative. It highlights the cross-sport appeal that WWE is tapping into, and her early success suggests she could be a major player in the company's future. For now, fans are eagerly awaiting her in-ring debut, but her swimsuit snap has certainly given them plenty to talk about.
In the meantime, Walker continues to grow her brand, and if her recent post is any indication, she is well on her way to becoming a household name. Whether she is dominating on the track or captivating audiences online, Meghan Walker is proving she has what it takes to shine in the spotlight.
