WWE's Sol Ruca may be known for her high-flying moves inside the squared circle, but this week she proved she can captivate an audience with a simple snapshot. The reigning NXT Women's Champion and WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion set social media ablaze with a series of swimsuit photos from her tropical getaway to Hawaii.
The images, posted Thursday night, show Ruca soaking up the sun in style, and her fans were quick to flood the comments with praise. "Sol snatching," one admirer wrote. "You look so good," added another. The compliments kept rolling in, with one fan dubbing her a "million dollar baby" and another declaring she's on "a generational run."
Ruca's rise in WWE has been nothing short of meteoric. Since signing a developmental contract in March 2022, she has become one of the most beloved figures in the women's division. Her official WWE bio highlights her rapid ascent, noting that shortly after joining the main roster, she overcame Becky Lynch at WWE Clash in Italy to capture her first Women's Intercontinental Championship. The bio also playfully hints at her limitless potential: "Already a multiple-time champion, Ruca has a ceiling so high that she one day might try to jump off of it."
While her in-ring achievements speak for themselves, Ruca's charisma extends beyond the ropes. She's previously expressed interest in exploring a heel persona, but it seems her natural charm might keep her on the babyface path. "I think I would love to be able to try that. I have been told in the past that I most likely will not be heel ever because of just how I am naturally," she told KRON 4. "I am quite a bubbly and liked person."
Her ability to connect with fans is evident, and it's not just limited to the wrestling world. Ruca joins a growing list of sports figures who've made waves with their social media presence, much like UFC ring girl Red Dela Cruz and golf sensation Paige Spiranac. Even LPGA star Charley Hull turned heads with her recent SI Swimsuit reveal, showing that athletes across disciplines know how to keep their followers engaged.
But Ruca's focus remains on her wrestling career. With a busy schedule ahead, she's set to appear on Monday Night Raw, where fans will undoubtedly be eager to see her in action. Her momentum shows no signs of slowing down, both as a champion and as a social media sensation.
As the WWE universe continues to rally behind her, one thing is clear: Sol Ruca is more than just a pretty face. She's a force to be reckoned with, and her star is only getting brighter.
