Ryan Kowalski

Ryan Kowalski is the newest addition to the Sports Central News team, having joined in 2024 fresh from his journalism studies at Michigan State, where he wrote about college football and motorsports for the university paper. He grew up in the Detroit area watching NASCAR races and IndyCar on TV, which fueled a passion for motorsports writing that led him to SCN. Ryan handles NASCAR coverage and picks up breaking news stories across multiple sports, learning the trade from experienced colleagues. He is ambitious, hard-working, and still developing his journalistic voice, but his energy and curiosity are invaluable to the team.
