The legal storm surrounding former NFL defensive end and ESPN personality Marcellus Wiley just intensified. A fresh wave of accusations has surfaced, with a former ESPN production assistant stepping forward to allege sexual assault by the 51-year-old broadcaster.

According to court documents filed last month and obtained by Awful Announcing, the new accuser claims Wiley led her to his hotel room under the guise of a work meeting. What happened next, she says, was a nightmare. She described in graphic detail how Wiley emerged from the bathroom naked, pushed her against a window with such force she feared it would shatter, and then forced her onto the bed. Despite her repeated pleas for him to stop, she says he held her down, masturbated over her, and only released her after ejaculating. The woman stated she feared for her life during the encounter.

After a frustrating season, Joe Burrow's glamorous offseason activities have fans questioning his dedication to football and the Bengals.

This latest accusation adds to a growing pile of legal trouble for Wiley. Four new accusers have joined three others who previously filed suit, the first of whom came forward in 2023 alleging rape during Wiley's time at Columbia University in 1994. Wiley has consistently denied all allegations, calling the initial suit “B.S.” on his YouTube show. A 2024 court filing by his then-lawyer also denied the claims.

Wiley, who played in the NFL from 1997 to 2006 and earned second-team All-Pro honors in 2001, transitioned seamlessly into broadcasting after his playing days. He worked for both ESPN and Fox Sports, becoming a familiar face on shows like SportsNation and Speak for Yourself. But his media career has been overshadowed by these legal battles.

Another accuser in the latest filing alleges Wiley assaulted her when she was just 13 years old. The details of that claim have not been fully disclosed, but it adds a particularly disturbing layer to the case.

ESPN has declined to comment on the new accusations. The network previously parted ways with Wiley in 2021, though the reasons were not publicly tied to these allegations at the time.

The accusations come at a time when the sports media world is already reeling from other scandals. For instance, CM Punk Under Fire Again: Second Fan Accusation Surfaces in Las Vegas shows how allegations can quickly spiral in the public eye. Wiley's legal team has not yet responded to the latest filings. As the case moves forward, the sports world will be watching closely to see how these disturbing accusations unfold.
