And I think that’s what I’m most proud of — that through all of it I never fully fit into the box of what local news is supposed to look like. Coloring outside the lines has always just been in my DNA.”
Peters also expressed deep gratitude for her time at Fox 5, particularly for her co-anchor Rosanna Scotto. “Getting to call Rosanna Scotto my co-anchor is a sentence I will never get tired of saying because she is someone undeniably herself, genuinely gracious, and real every single day. Not everyone gets that lucky.”
