While NFL insider Dianna Russini has gone dark on social media following her resignation amid a scandal involving Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel, her husband Kevin Goldschmidt is doing the exact opposite — staying public and focused on his professional life.

Goldschmidt, an executive at Shake Shack, hasn't deleted his LinkedIn account or retreated from the public eye. Instead, he's keeping his profile active and continuing to prioritize his career, a stark contrast to the way many spouses might react in a similar situation.

Russini's Resignation and Social Media Exit

Russini stepped down from her role at The Athletic earlier this month after photos surfaced of her at an adults-only resort with Vrabel. She initially defended the images, saying she and Vrabel were there with a group of friends, but eventually chose to resign. More photos later emerged via Page Six and TMZ Sports.

Vrabel publicly apologized, telling reporters, "I've had some difficult conversations with people that I care about, with my family, the organization, the coaches, the players. Those have been positive and productive." He added, "We believe that in order to be successful on and off the field you have to make good decisions. That includes me, that starts with me."

Russini herself deleted her X account, which had a massive following. In a statement, she said, "Over a career spanning more than fifteen years in sports journalism — at NBC, ESPN, and The Athletic — I have built a body of work I am proud of. I have broken stories, earned the trust of sources across the league, and been guided by the highest standards of professional conduct."

Kevin Goldschmidt's Public Stance

While his wife has stepped away, Goldschmidt remains visible — especially on LinkedIn, where he hasn't removed his profile. The couple has been together for over six years and married on September 26, 2020. They have two young sons.

Goldschmidt is a die-hard Eagles fan, and Russini, who grew up in New Jersey, often joked about their relationship. In a 2023 interview, she quipped, "He had a really big wallet." Those past comments are now being revisited and scrutinized in light of the scandal.

Despite the intense public attention, Goldschmidt is choosing to stay engaged professionally. It's a move that shows he's not letting the controversy define him — and he's keeping his focus on what matters most to him.
