A.J. Brown isn't leaving Philadelphia quietly. After four electric seasons with the Eagles, the wide receiver made a bold declaration as he packed his bags for New England.

According to NFL Network insider Mike Garafolo, Brown visited the Eagles facility Thursday to grab his belongings and say goodbye. While signing a picture of himself alongside other Pro Bowlers on the wall, he reportedly added a message that turned heads.

Karol G's Sizzling Swimsuit Snap Racks Up 2.6 Million Likes
Karol G's new swimsuit photo has amassed 2.6 million likes on Instagram. The Colombian star, who performed at an NFL halftime show in Brazil, is making waves this summer.

“The best to ever play here. Always open,” Brown wrote, per Garafolo, who shared the story on Good Morning Football. “That signature is going to stay up on the wall. They may have to edit out the message.”

It's a spicy claim for a player who spent only four seasons in Philadelphia. But Brown's numbers back up some of the swagger. He racked up 5,034 receiving yards and 32 touchdowns in 62 regular-season games. His 81.2 yards per game rank second in franchise history, trailing only Terrell Owens.

Brown also owns the Eagles' single-season receiving record, posting 1,496 yards in his first year. He followed that with 1,456 yards in 2023, becoming just the second player in team history to hit 100 catches in a season, joining tight end Zach Ertz.

The 28-year-old leaves with a Super Bowl ring and a legacy that sparks debate. While he's 13th in all-time catches and ninth in receiving yards for the Eagles, his per-game impact is undeniable. He found the end zone in both of his Super Bowl appearances, including the team's championship run.

Philadelphia traded Brown to the Patriots for a 2028 first-round pick and a 2027 second-round pick, ending weeks of speculation. Brown now joins a New England squad that just won the AFC, and he'll look to become a top target for quarterback Drake Maye.

Can he match Tom Brady's legacy in Foxborough? That's a different mountain to climb. But for now, Brown's parting words in Philly have fans buzzing, especially given his recent comments about Jalen Hurts.

Whether he's truly the best Eagle ever is up for debate, but Brown made sure no one will forget his time in green and white.
