The mixed martial arts world is in mourning after UFC flyweight Allan Nascimento passed away at the age of 34. The promotion confirmed the heartbreaking news on Monday, stating that Nascimento suffered an apparent heart attack in his sleep and was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.

Nascimento, nicknamed “Puro Osso” (meaning “All Bones”), leaves behind a legacy of 22 wins and 7 losses, with an impressive 16 victories by submission. He joined the UFC in 2021 and quickly made his mark, winning four of his six bouts in the Octagon. His only two losses came via split decision, a testament to his competitive edge.
The Brazilian flyweight, who trained with the renowned Chute Boxe team, earned his most recent victory over Cory Durden on November 1. His final fight was a loss to Mitch Raposo on June 20.

Allan inspired inside and out of the tatamis with his determination, humility, respect and fighting spirit. Your presence will be missed immeasurably. Rest in peace, Allan. Your name, your story and your legacy will live forever through our star.”
