The divorce between Tyreek Hill and Keeta Vaccaro has taken another dark turn, with fresh accusations that could tarnish the star receiver's reputation even further.
According to recent court documents obtained by TMZ, Vaccaro claims Hill allegedly paid off his former partner, Crystal Espinal, who had previously accused him of violence. The documents say Hill's attorney reached out to Espinal just a week before her deposition in the divorce case, telling her there “needs to be trust” and that they “needed to bridge the gap.” Hill then reportedly flew to Arkansas to see Espinal and their three kids for the first time in two years.
Hill has refused to answer questions about whether he bribed Espinal, leaving many to wonder what else might surface in this messy legal battle.
This comes on the heels of earlier allegations from Vaccaro, who accused Hill of punching her in the stomach while she was pregnant, spitting on her, pulling her hair, twisting her breasts, locking her out of their home, and threatening her life. Hill has denied all wrongdoing, claiming any actions were in self-defense.
Vaccaro also mentioned a nanny cam video that supposedly shows Hill's violence toward her and her mother, which she claims his team tried to buy for hundreds of thousands of dollars.
As the legal drama intensifies, Hill's focus on the field is also in question. The 30-year-old remains a free agent after suffering a dislocated knee and torn ACL. He recently revealed that he still has no power in his injured left leg, saying, "So it's about 10 months after doing two surgeries. My left leg is the one that I injured. I have no power in my left leg, so I'm trying to regain all the power back in my left leg. But it's one day at a time."
With the NFL season just around the corner, teams are wary of signing a player with such a serious injury and now a cloud of legal issues. The latest allegations could make it even harder for Hill to find a new home, as training camps heat up and rosters solidify.
While Hill's legal troubles mount, other sports stories are making headlines, like injury woes in joint practices and celebrations off the court. But for Hill, the road back to the NFL looks increasingly rocky.
