Alix Earle's star just keeps climbing, and the folks at Sports Illustrated Swimsuit are here for every bit of it. This week, the iconic brand's social media team sent a warm congratulations to the TikTok sensation, who is gearing up for the premiere of her very own Netflix reality series.
Earle, who made history in June 2024 as the first digital cover model for SI Swimsuit, was later named one of four cover stars for the magazine's 2025 issue. The honor left her emotional. "That was, like, beyond what I expected," she admitted. "And halfway through I was in the tent, like changing, and I just started tearing up. I was just like, 'What is my life? What am I doing?' And, like, 'This is just insane, like, huh?' And I really just felt confident out there, and it was just, like, a lot of fun. I can't believe I'm doing this."
Now, just a few months after that career-defining cover, Earle has announced her next big venture: a Netflix reality show titled Earle Meets World. The series promises an unfiltered look at her life, going beyond the polished highlights often seen on social media.
"It honestly feels unreal to be partnering with Netflix, and I'm so excited to be creating this show with them," Earle said. "I've shared my life for years through my own camera, but this felt like the next phase because it's a chance to go deeper. Not just the highlights, but the real moments, too. The vulnerable ones, the hard ones, and the fun, chaotic ones in between. It's the same authenticity people know me for, but now with a different lens."
With the show set to drop on Sept. 4, SI Swimsuit decided to revisit Earle's past photoshoots, sharing a nostalgic post that had fans buzzing. It's a fitting tribute to a model who has quickly become one of the brand's most beloved figures.
The Netflix series will feature Earle's father, mother, sister Ashtin, and a few other family members, giving viewers an intimate look at her world. "My relationship with my followers has always felt really personal because I've been sharing my life the same way I would with my best friends," Earle explained. "With this show, I want it to feel like you're even more in it with me, in a way that's real and not curated."
Earle's rise has been meteoric, and she's not alone in the spotlight. The swimsuit world has seen plenty of viral moments lately, from Charley Hull's blue swimsuit photo to Kim Kardashian's swimsuit selfie at 45. But Earle's journey is uniquely her own, and her upcoming show could be her biggest leap yet.
Whether Earle Meets World becomes a massive hit remains to be seen, but one thing's for sure: SI Swimsuit is rooting for her every step of the way.
