WWE Women's World Champion Stephanie Vaquer has once again captured the spotlight, but this time it's not for her in-ring prowess. The reigning champion recently shared a swimsuit selfie from her Hawaiian getaway, and the WWE Universe collectively lost its cool.
Vaquer, who signed with WWE in July 2024 after a stellar run in Mexico's Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, and Revolution Pro Wrestling, has been on a meteoric rise. After dominating NXT, she was called up to the main roster in 2025 and just a month ago defeated Liv Morgan in Santiago to claim the WWE Women's World Championship.
While her athletic achievements are undeniable, it's her vacation photos that have set social media ablaze. The comments section of her latest post is a sea of heart-eyes and fire emojis. "You're soooooooo drop dead gorgeous," gushed one fan. "Wow gorgeous," echoed another. "You look great," added a third.
The reaction is reminiscent of the buzz generated by other athletes' vacation snaps, like Tiafoe's girlfriend's Hawaii swimsuit post that set the tennis world on fire, or the volleyball star Kayla Simmons' swimsuit pic that had fans losing it. Vaquer's post is clearly in that league.
But the celebration is bittersweet. Reports indicate that Vaquer is currently out of action indefinitely due to an illness, a development that has cast a shadow over her championship reign. WWE has not yet provided an update on the severity of her condition, leaving fans hopeful for a speedy recovery.
"We're all praying for her," one fan wrote. "She's a champion in and out of the ring."
Vaquer's rise to the top of WWE has been nothing short of spectacular. From her early days in Lucha Libre to her championship victory, she has proven time and again that she belongs on the biggest stage. Her ability to connect with fans, both through her performances and her social media presence, has made her one of the most beloved figures in the company.
As the WWE Universe waits for news on her health, one thing is certain: Stephanie Vaquer has already won their hearts. Whether she's dominating in the ring or soaking up the sun in Hawaii, she continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
For now, fans can only hope that her illness is minor and that she'll be back to defending her title sooner rather than later. Until then, we'll be scrolling through her Instagram, marveling at the champion's glow.
