Race car driver Lindsay Brewer is turning heads again, but this time it's not just on the track. The 29-year-old 47Motorsports driver shared a series of stunning photos from Laguna Beach on Wednesday night, and the internet is taking notice.

In the images, Brewer wears a sleek black top that quickly drew comments like "so stunning" and "beyond any compliment." With 2.7 million Instagram followers, she's no stranger to going viral, but these photos are reigniting a familiar debate about her dual identity as both a professional racer and social media influencer.

NASCAR Legends Jeff Gordon and Kyle Larson Shut Down Stephen A. Smith's Ignorant Take
NASCAR greats Jeff Gordon and Kyle Larson fire back at Stephen A. Smith after he dismissed drivers as not being true athletes, citing the sport's extreme endurance and mental challenges.

Brewer, who has been racing since age 11, competes in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America series. She previously raced in the Saleen S1 Cup, IndyPro 2000, and the W Series. Despite her extensive background, she often faces criticism from those who see her as just another influencer.

"When I first got back into the sport, it really bothered me and the comments would bother me," Brewer told the New York Post. "I was like, 'Ugh, I'm not just an influencer, I'm also a race car driver. I've been racing since I was 11.' I grew a big chunk of my following when I wasn't racing, so once I started to race again, they were like, 'This influencer's pretending to be a race car driver,' and I'm like, 'No.'"

But Brewer has learned to tune out the noise. "I realized everyone is going to have their opinion whether it's right or wrong, and you can't control how other people perceive you," she added. "They're going to have their opinion no matter what, so I've really tried to get past it."

That resilience is on full display as she continues posting content that keeps her fans engaged. The Colorado native's latest photoshoot is just the latest example of how she's embracing both sides of her career.

Brewer's next chance to prove her mettle on the asphalt comes in June when the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America schedule resumes. Until then, her social media presence remains a powerful tool for connecting with fans—and sparking conversation.

Her journey echoes that of other athletes who navigate the line between sport and spotlight, much like Olivia Dunne's recent SI Swimsuit photos that had fans buzzing. It also mirrors the debate around Olivia Culpo's throwback photos that stirred social media. But for Brewer, the goal is clear: keep racing, keep posting, and let the results speak for themselves.
