Olivia Dunne has once again turned heads with her latest Sports Illustrated Swimsuit photos, and the internet is absolutely buzzing. The former LSU gymnastics star shared a series of snaps from her shoot in Mexico on Tuesday night, simply captioning the post: “Year 4.”
Fans wasted no time flooding the comments with praise. “So beautiful,” one wrote, while another declared, “Year 4 and still raising the bar every single time. SI knew what they were doing keeping you locked in.” A third chimed in, “Four years straight with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit is a flex.”
Dunne first burst onto the SI Swimsuit scene in 2023, and her rookie shoot was such a hit that she returned in 2024. Last year, she even landed the cover. This time around, she didn't get the cover, but her photos still generated plenty of social media buzz.
SI Swimsuit editor in chief MJ Day praised Dunne’s broader impact, saying, “Olivia Dunne’s why goes far beyond the floor and bars—it’s about changing the game for athletes everywhere. She was one of the first to leverage the power of name, image and likeness deals, building a brand that’s both financially successful and rooted in showing the real Livvy.” Day added, “She’s not just a social media sensation; she’s a pioneering force who has created opportunities for herself and, by extension, countless other athletes.”
Dunne’s success isn’t limited to modeling. She’s set to appear in FOX’s upcoming Baywatch reboot, joining a cast that includes Stephen Amell, Jessica Belkin, Noah Beck, and others. According to Deadline, the show follows wild-child Hobie (Amell) as a Baywatch Captain whose world is turned upside down when his daughter Charlie shows up eager to carry on the family legacy. The reboot is scheduled to launch during the 2026–2027 season.
Dunne’s journey from LSU gymnast to multi-platform star mirrors the trajectory of other athletes who have used sports illustrated swimsuit debuts to amplify their brands. Her ability to juggle NIL deals, modeling, and now acting has made her a role model for a new generation of athletes.
Whether she can fully transition into a Hollywood career remains to be seen, but for now, her fans are just happy to see her shine—both in the pages of SI and beyond.
