The Fury family is celebrating a major milestone this weekend, but it's not a title fight or a new addition to the household. Venezuela Fury, the 16-year-old daughter of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and his wife Paris, tied the knot with her 18-year-old boyfriend, boxer Noah Price, in a ceremony on the Isle of Man. The wedding took place at the Royal Chapel of St. John, where the legal age for marriage with parental consent is 16.
While some eyebrows have been raised about the couple's youth, Paris Fury is making it clear that she stands firmly behind her daughter's decision. In an interview with The Mirror, she explained that her own history makes it hard to criticize. Paris got engaged at 17, and she sees a lot of herself in Venezuela.
“Venezuela is so mature for her years,” Paris said. “She’s done so much in such a short time just because of who she is and the fact that she’s got six younger brothers and sisters that she’s helped bring up.” She added, “I can’t deny her, because I was 17 when I got engaged. She’s obviously following in my footsteps, so how can I judge her in any way. I know she’s young. But I think she’s found the person she loves and if she’s happy, I will completely support her.”
Tyson Fury has also been vocal about his support, sharing emotional posts on social media throughout the weekend. In one Instagram post, he wrote, “A beautiful day of celebrating my daughter’s wedding day, @venezuelaprice1 she was amazing & im very proud of her! we both were crying 😭 like babys.😍🙏😎❤️.” The heavyweight champ has consistently backed his daughter, echoing his earlier statements about her maturity.
Paris took to Instagram as well, sharing heartfelt messages and photos from the big day. “My beautiful girl, so proud I was of you today. You looked beautiful,” she wrote in one post. In another, she added, “Congratulations to you 2. My beautiful daughter and handsome son in law. Wishing yous all the happiness in the world.”
The wedding has sparked public debate, with some critics questioning the decision to marry so young. But the Fury family remains united, emphasizing that Venezuela's happiness is what matters most. Paris pointed out that her daughter has already taken on significant responsibilities at home, helping raise her younger siblings, which has shaped her into a mature young woman.
This isn't the first time a celebrity parent has faced scrutiny over a teen's life choices, but the Furys are taking it in stride. For them, love and family come first—no matter the age.
