Martha Stewart has done it again. The 85-year-old lifestyle mogul and former model is setting social media on fire with a jaw-dropping swimsuit photo that has fans everywhere hitting the like button faster than you can say "it's a good thing."
Stewart, who has never been one to shy away from the spotlight, shared a sizzling snapshot from her East Hampton estate, where she was cooling off on a sweltering 89-degree day. The image, which shows her looking effortlessly chic in a swimsuit, quickly went viral, proving that age is truly just a number.
A Pool Built for Speed
But it wasn't just the photo that grabbed attention—it was the story behind it. Stewart took to social media to share the details of her beloved pool, which she built three decades ago. "My pool in East Hampton is the place to be on an 89 degree day!" she wrote. "When I built the pool thirty years ago it was designed to be as chlorine free as possible, with a natural concrete finish—no paint—and it fit in a long narrow space between the house and the property line."
She went on to explain the thoughtful design: "I made it extra deep for diving and with no protruding steps so we could really race the length without worrying about obstacles. After all these years, it is a fun place to swim!!!"
Fans were quick to praise both the pool and its owner, with many marveling at Stewart's vitality and timeless style. It's no surprise, really—this isn't her first time turning heads in a swimsuit.
A Legendary History of Turning Heads
Stewart is no stranger to making a splash. In 2023, she made history as the oldest model to grace the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, a moment that cemented her status as a cultural icon. Her poolside photo is just the latest in a long line of memorable moments that have kept her in the public eye for decades.
At 85, Stewart continues to defy expectations, whether she's whipping up a gourmet meal, sharing beauty tips, or showing off her ageless figure. Her latest post has sparked a frenzy reminiscent of other viral moments in sports and entertainment, like Lindsey Vonn's birthday swimsuit snap that had fans freaking out, or the fiery backstage photo from Victoria's Secret Angels that ignited fan frenzy.
Stewart's ability to captivate audiences is a testament to her enduring appeal. She's not just a domestic diva; she's a force of nature who proves that confidence and style have no expiration date. As one fan put it, "Martha is the GOAT of aging gracefully."
While some might argue that a swimsuit photo at 85 is unconventional, Stewart clearly doesn't care. She's living her best life, and her fans are here for every moment of it. Whether she's diving into her pool or diving into a new business venture, one thing is certain: Martha Stewart knows how to make a splash.
So, here's to Martha—may she continue to inspire us all with her zest for life and her fearless approach to aging. After all, if she can rock a swimsuit at 85, there's hope for the rest of us.
