Landry Kiffin isn't letting the haters win. After her bold purple sideline ensemble at Saturday's LSU-Auburn game sparked a social media firestorm, the daughter of Tigers head coach Lane Kiffin took to Instagram with a defiant message: “Never too much.” She added, “Doing just fine.”

The outfit, which turned heads and lit up the internet, drew more than 250,000 views on X (formerly Twitter) by Sunday morning. Critics were quick to weigh in, but Landry made it clear she's not backing down.

Big 12 Cracks Down: New Policy Targets Fan Misconduct After UCF Fine
The Big 12 has fined UCF $100,000 for anti-LDS chants during Saturday's game vs. BYU and rolled out a new conduct policy with escalating penalties, including in-game consequences for repeat offenses.

It also seems her sideline look has become part of a broader conversation about what women wear at sporting events. It's a topic that has sideline reporters fighting back against undue scrutiny, and it's not the first time a viral outfit has sparked debate—one fan recently clapped back after her NFL game outfit went viral.

On the field, Landry's boyfriend, LSU linebacker Whit Weeks, and the Tigers delivered a statement performance, dismantling Auburn 38-17. The win pushed No. 18 LSU to 6-2 and kept their College Football Playoff hopes alive.

Lane Kiffin was all smiles after the game, praising his team's complete performance. “This is what the whole thing was supposed to look like when it was put together,” he said, per ESPN. The Tigers racked up over 500 yards of offense while the defense stifled Auburn's attack.

The head coach acknowledged the team's growth, especially after a challenging offseason. “This is where we planned on being,” Kiffin said. “Would have loved for it to be that way every game, but we just kind of—probably realistically it was going to be a little bit slower with Sam missing all of spring and basically, outside of Trey'Dez, every skill player that plays is new. And so them just meshing together with Sam missing spring in the passing game and now you see them, a lot of receivers go in there and play and make plays and they mesh together really well.”

LSU now enjoys a bye week before a crucial showdown with Alabama on Nov. 7. The Crimson Tide will be coming off their own set of challenges, but for now, the Tigers are savoring a dominant win and a little off-field drama that Landry handled with style.
