Barnett was one of William Jewell's leading rushers last season, tallying 366 yards and four touchdowns on 71 carries. His presence on the field was felt immediately on Saturday, and his sudden passing has sent shockwaves through the team and the wider sports community.
In the wake of the tragedy, tributes have poured in from across the country. Fans, athletes, and organizations have taken to social media to express their condolences. "Absolutely heartbreaking.
