Atlanta Dream forward Angel Reese is turning up the heat as she celebrates her 24th birthday this Wednesday. The WNBA star, who recently made headlines for her blockbuster trade from the Chicago Sky, is marking the occasion with a photo that's got the internet buzzing.

Reese, who averaged 14.7 points and 12.6 rebounds last season, was traded to the Dream last month for a pair of first-round picks. The move didn't sit well with Chicago fans, but Reese is focused on the future. "I wanted more," she said. "I love to win, I love to compete and I wanted to be surrounded by people that can make me better." She added, "I want to win and being able to come to an organization that really cared about their players."

Beloved Coach Fights for Life After Freak Golf Cart Crash in Mexico
Beloved CrossFit coach Kerrie Olsen is fighting for her life after a freak golf cart accident in Mexico left her with severe brain injuries. Her family is racing to bring her home.

But before she hits the court for her first regular season with Atlanta, Reese is taking a moment to celebrate. Her podcast's official X account posted a photo with the caption: "Pretty, powerful, and still unapologetic." Reese herself shared a pair of photos, writing, "24. The year of simplicity. Less is more."

Off the hardwood, Reese continues to expand her brand. In October 2025, she walked in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, and later promoted the brand's "Invisible by Victoria's Secret Strapless Collection." Victoria's Secret shared photos of Reese in a bronze swimsuit, and she told Elle Magazine, "The theme is bronze, and I'm all for the bronze and the sun."

This isn't the first time Reese has turned heads with a swimsuit photo. She posed for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit in 2023, where she said, "I work out a lot. I embrace my body and who I am and every mark on my body. I probably feel the sexiest in a bathing suit."

Reese's confidence and style have drawn comparisons to other athletes who've made waves with birthday photos, like Genny Shawcross's recent Playboy Bunny-inspired snap. But Reese is carving her own path, balancing her on-court ambitions with a growing media presence.

ESPN's Holly Rowe recently defended Reese against media criticism, highlighting the double standards she faces. Reese, however, remains unbothered. "I'm always gonna be grateful," she said of her time in Chicago. "I enjoyed being able to grow within my first two years, but I wanted more."

As she steps into her 24th year, Reese is poised to make an even bigger impact—both on the court and in the fashion world. With her new team and a growing list of endorsements, she's proving that less is indeed more.
