Annemarie Wiley, a star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, has filed for divorce from former NFL defensive lineman Marcellus Wiley, according to court documents obtained by TMZ. The filing comes just days after Wiley was arrested on domestic violence charges, and Annemarie is also seeking a restraining order that would keep him at least 100 yards away from her.

In the divorce filing, Annemarie is asking for full custody of the couple's three children. She describes what she calls a “continuing and escalating pattern of physical violence, sexual abuse, verbal and emotional abuse, financial control and intimidation” spanning years. Among the specific allegations: that Marcellus raped her in 2012, punched her in the face in 2014, and threw a bottle of Coca-Cola at her head while she was nine months pregnant in 2019.

“Because of the trauma associated with many of these events, there are gaps in my memory, as I have blocked out much of what Marcellus has done to me,” Annemarie wrote in the documents.

Marcellus Wiley was arrested on Saturday after allegedly threatening to kill his wife during an incident at a Florida hotel room. According to a police report, a deputy responded to a call at the World Marriott in Orlando, where Annemarie said Marcellus had “used one finger to sternly and intentionally poke her in the cheek” the day before. She told police that Marcellus said he was going to kill her and that she feared for her safety. He faces a possible charge of misdemeanor domestic battery and was released on bond Sunday morning.

On Sunday afternoon, Marcellus took to social media to deny the allegations. “I completely and unequivocally deny these allegations, and I'm certain the truth will prevail,” he wrote. “As you know, I'm usually the first to break down the truth and separate facts from fiction. But because this is now a legal matter—and because my greatest responsibility is protecting my babies, who have already been impacted—I have to handle this differently. When I can speak freely, I absolutely will.”

The former NFL star is no stranger to legal trouble. Earlier this year, four women—including a former ESPN employee—accused him of rape in a lawsuit. Three other women had previously sued him on rape allegations dating back to his time at Columbia University. This latest arrest adds to a growing list of legal battles for the former pro athlete, whose mugshot was released after the July 4 incident.

Annemarie's decision to file for divorce and seek a restraining order highlights the serious nature of the allegations, which paint a picture of long-term abuse. The case also echoes broader conversations around domestic violence in professional sports, as seen in other recent legal cases involving former NFL players.

As the legal process unfolds, both sides are likely to present their accounts. For now, Annemarie is focused on protecting her children and herself, while Marcellus maintains his innocence. The court will ultimately decide the next steps in this high-profile divorce and the related restraining order.
