The Philadelphia Eagles may have dropped a heartbreaker to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, but WWE legend Nikki Bella still managed to steal the spotlight with her game-day style. The longtime wrestling icon showed up to the NFC clash dressed to impress, and her Eagles-themed outfit quickly became the talk of social media.
Bella, known for her fashion-forward looks both inside and outside the ring, took to social media to show off her ensemble, and NFL fans couldn't get enough. Despite the 24-20 defeat, her outfit gave the Philadelphia faithful something to cheer about.
A Loss That Stung
The Eagles' loss was a tough pill to swallow. Philadelphia fought hard but fell short in a game that came down to the wire. Rams head coach Sean McVay was all smiles after the win, praising his defense for stepping up when it mattered most.
“I can’t say enough about our defense keeping us in that football game, getting stop after stop. Man, there are so many things that we can clean up, but for our group to come alive when they did and find a way to make the plays, … really proud of them,” McVay said postgame.
Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford also credited the defense for keeping the team in the game, while acknowledging the offense's struggles.
“The cool thing about our group is we were steady the whole game. Things weren’t going our way, either I’m throwing a bad pass, we’re not catching one, we go backwards with a penalty after the first time we get field position all day. Any way you can shoot yourself in the foot, we were doing it on an offensive side of ball. But we just kept the belief, and our defense kept us in it, gave us opportunities to stay in that game, and just proud of the resilience of our group,” Stafford added.
Bella's Viral Moment
Meanwhile, Bella's outfit was a clear winner. The WWE star looked stunning in Eagles colors, and fans on social media were quick to show their appreciation. One fan joked, “Sirriani needs to start y’all. I’m sure the twins could get a third down conversion 😂.” Another wrote, “Even when they lose, you still win…,” while others simply commented, “Hard loss but a great day” and “Go Birds 🙃.”
This isn't the first time a celebrity outfit has stolen the show at an NFL game. Earlier this season, Chargers QB Justin Herbert's girlfriend sparked an outfit debate at a game, and Erin Andrews' rain outfit also turned heads before the Eagles-Rams matchup. It seems game-day fashion is becoming as much a part of the NFL experience as the action on the field.
What's Next for the Eagles?
The Eagles will look to bounce back in Week 5, but they'll need to address some issues if they want to get back on track. The loss to the Rams was a missed opportunity, and fans are hoping for a stronger performance next time out. For now, they can take solace in Bella's standout style, even if the scoreboard didn't go their way.
As for Bella, she continues to prove that she's a force both in the wrestling world and in the stands. Her outfit may not have helped the Eagles win, but it definitely gave fans something to talk about.
