The NFL isn't playing games when it comes to security breaches. YouTube personality Fred Beyer learned that the hard way after pulling off a brazen stunt during the 2026 NFL Draft that earned him a lifetime ban from all league events.

Beyer, who boasts over 2 million subscribers on his channel, managed to slip past security on Day 2 of the draft by brandishing a fake credential he printed at a local Staples. His mission? To troll former Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell by announcing the Las Vegas Raiders' 67th overall pick from the stage.

It almost worked. Dressed in a credential that apparently fooled a few staff members, Beyer made his way to the podium as the Raiders were on the clock. But before he could utter a single pick, his microphone was cut off. Security swooped in, dragged him backstage, and local police escorted him off the premises.

The NFL's response was swift and severe. In a letter obtained by Beyer and shared in his latest video, the league made its position crystal clear: “You are indefinitely banned from any NFL game or event. The ban is league-wide and will be enforced rigorously. Should you be found at any NFL game or event, law enforcement will be summoned and you will be arrested.”

Beyer signed the letter, acknowledging the terms. For now, his NFL fandom will have to be exercised from the couch.

The incident has sparked conversation about draft security, especially after viewership dips and other off-field distractions have already put the league on edge. Some fans have even called for stricter protocols, drawing comparisons to criticism of the NBA's draft lottery system.

Beyer's stunt also overshadowed some of the real drama of the draft, including rumors that Matthew Stafford might walk away after the Rams drafted a quarterback and reports that two NFC teams tried to sneak ahead of the Giants for a top prospect.

As for Beyer, the question remains: will the NFL ever lift the ban? Given the league's hardline stance, it seems unlikely anytime soon. But in the world of viral pranks and second chances, never say never.
