The Dallas Cowboys thought they had moved on from the Micah Parsons saga. But as long as Terrence Parsons Jr. has a working phone and an internet connection, the past is never truly behind them.

On Wednesday, the Chicago Bears shook the NFL landscape by trading two first-round picks and a 2027 fourth-rounder to the Tennessee Titans for All-Pro defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons. The move sent shockwaves through the league and instantly rekindled the debate over what the Cowboys received when they shipped Parsons to Green Bay last August.

Rodgers' International NFL Week Idea Falls Flat with League Execs
Aaron Rodgers' pitch for a full week of international NFL games has reportedly gained no traction with league owners, who see it as competing against themselves.

Terrence, Micah's older brother, wasted no time piling on. Taking to X, he wrote: "Mannn that Micah parsons trade just looks better and better… no way the cowboys don't get 3 first and or 2 firsts and 2nd round for a 26 year old pass rusher in his prime."

It's not the first time Terrence has trolled Dallas. The Cowboys traded Parsons to the Packers for defensive lineman Kenny Clark, a 2026 first-round pick, and a 2027 first-round pick. They then watched as Green Bay handed Parsons a four-year, $188 million extension. At the time, the return seemed respectable, but the market for elite defensive linemen has only risen since.

The Simmons deal, which netted Tennessee two firsts and a fourth, underscores just how much the price for a game-wrecking pass rusher has climbed. Parsons, who is still recovering from a torn ACL suffered in December 2025, is considered by many to be the premier edge rusher in football when healthy. Terrence's point is clear: Dallas should have demanded more.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys are still searching for pass-rush help. According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, there are whispers that Dallas could target Arizona Cardinals outside linebacker Josh Sweat. "The problem with the Cowboys is they don't have a lot of draft picks, but they're always looking for help," Fowler said. "I checked in with a few league execs who believe Dallas and Josh Sweat would be perfect profile fit."

Adding Sweat would give the Cowboys a proven veteran edge presence, but it wouldn't erase the sting of the Parsons trade. Dallas has also been linked to other moves, including trade rumors involving George Pickens, though that's a separate storyline.

For now, the Packers are being cautious with Parsons' recovery, with a potential return coming after their Week 11 bye. Green Bay faces the Panthers, Patriots, and Vikings before that break, meaning Parsons could be unleashed in Week 12. Until then, the Cowboys will have to watch from afar as their former star prepares to make his debut for a new team.

The Cowboys have had their share of drama this season, from Dak Prescott's struggles under the Monday night lights to a wild win over the Eagles that had fans buzzing. But the Parsons trade remains a sore spot for many in Dallas, and Terrence isn't about to let them forget it.

Whether the Cowboys ultimately land Sweat or another edge rusher, the shadow of the Parsons deal will loom large. And with Terrence Parsons Jr. keeping the fire stoked, the backlash isn't going away anytime soon.
