Jaiden Bacciocco might be best known for turning heads on Love Island, but it turns out she also caught the attention of an entire NFL locker room this summer. The reality star stopped by the “Kaylor’s Crash Out” podcast this week and spilled some serious tea about her visit to the Los Angeles Chargers’ training camp — and the unexpected flood of messages that followed.
According to Bacciocco, she spent a day at Chargers practice soaking up the vibes and even filming content with a few players. What she didn’t expect was what happened after she left. “After we left, like six of them DM’d me,” she said, per the New York Post. “I was like dude, I was there for football, and the vibes. Not to get in your DMs.”
From TikTok to DMs — and a Surprise Block
The messages didn’t come out of nowhere. Bacciocco explained that she made a TikTok with some of the players, which led to follows and photo exchanges. “They would have photos of us taken, and the guys would send me it in my DM,” she recalled. “And I was like, ‘Oh, that’s sick!’ And then the next day, I was blocked by one of them, and I was like, ‘Oh, OK. I guess you probably have like a girlfriend or something.’ Typical.”
It’s a classic tale of NFL players shooting their shot — and then scrambling when reality hits. Bacciocco, for her part, isn’t losing sleep over it. She made it clear that she doesn’t entertain those kinds of messages. “I don’t answer DMs like that because I’m like, if you’re sliding into mine, you’re probably sliding into every girl’s,” she said.
Not Looking for a Football Romance
Even with half a dozen Chargers apparently vying for her attention, Bacciocco isn’t interested in dating a player. Her reasoning is simple: if a guy is DMing her, he’s probably DMing everyone. That’s a level of self-awareness that’s hard to argue with.
One player who almost certainly wasn’t in her inbox? Quarterback Justin Herbert. The Chargers’ franchise signal-caller got engaged to pop singer Madison Beer before the 2026 season, and the couple even shared an intimate moment at training camp that sparked some online chatter. Given his relationship status, it’s safe to assume Herbert had other things on his mind.
The Chargers, meanwhile, have bigger problems than who’s sliding into whose DMs. Jim Harbaugh’s squad is off to a brutal 0-3 start, and the pressure is mounting. They’ll hit the road this Sunday to face the Seattle Seahawks, hoping to finally notch their first win of the season.
As for Bacciocco, she seems perfectly content leaving the football drama on the field. She went to camp for the experience, not for a roster spot in someone’s contacts. And if six Chargers learned a lesson about shooting their shot, well, that’s just part of the game.
