LeBron James may have found his post-basketball calling. The four-time NBA champion and 22-time All-Star has been spending more time on the golf course lately, and this week he proved he's got some serious game off the hardwood.

On Wednesday, James shared a video on X (formerly Twitter) showing his tee shot on a par-3 hole that came within inches of dropping for his first career hole-in-one. The ball landed softly, took a couple of hops, and rolled just past the cup—so close that James couldn't help but react.

Kai Trump's $50 T-Shirts Spark Backlash: Fans Call Prices 'Tone Deaf'
Kai Trump's new NIL merchandise line, featuring $48 tees and $40 hats, is drawing backlash from fans who call the prices 'tone deaf.' Others praise the breast cancer donation.

“I would have run and jumped over the cliff into the ocean!” he wrote alongside the clip, clearly thrilled by how close he came to golf immortality.

James has been diving deep into golf recently. Earlier this month, he launched a YouTube channel focused on the sport, with his first video featuring a trip to Scotland with his 2016 Cleveland Cavaliers teammates. It's clear he's not just dabbling—he's genuinely invested in improving his game.

Fans were quick to weigh in on the near-ace. One commenter joked, “Bron is about to become a golf influencer post retirement.” Another pleaded, “Don't jump off a cliff Bron we need you to play at least 2 more seasons.” A third declared, “Man is gonna be the goat in another sport.”

The buzz caught the attention of PGA Tour star Sam Burns, who extended an open invitation to James for a round. “I think as a fan of golf, I mean, to have LeBron James be a supporter and obviously growing the game is great,” Burns told TMZ. “He has such an impact on so many people around the world. So it's great for our sport. It's great for what he's doing for it. And we're happy to see him out there enjoying some golf.”

James hasn't publicly accepted Burns' offer yet, but given his recent enthusiasm for the sport, it wouldn't be surprising to see them tee it up soon. And who knows—maybe that first ace is just around the corner.

As James continues to dominate on the court, his golf game is clearly becoming a passion project. Whether he's chasing a sixth NBA title or his first hole-in-one, one thing's for sure: LeBron's competitive fire doesn't discriminate. And if he ever does sink one, we just hope he doesn't actually jump off a cliff to celebrate.
