Why Is Dan Quinn Still Employed? NFL Insiders Left Stunned
NFL insiders are baffled that Dan Quinn still has a job after Washington's clock-management catastrophe in overtime against the Giants. Adam Schefter and Rex Ryan predict consequences are coming.

Described as a woman whose magnetic personality and infectious humor made everyone feel like family, Cindy was the beloved wife of Dan Miller, with whom she shared 33 wonderful years of marriage. Together they raised four children: Sammi (Brendan) Burdette, Rikki Miller, Tony (Viona Veseli) Miller, and Robbie Miller. She was also the adoring grandmother of Daphne and Cecilia.

She was the dear sister of Gino (Lisa) Biondi, Steve (Marissa) Biondi, and Julie (Chris) Griffin.

A fixture at Ford Field, Cindy attended all of the Lions' home games. Her family noted that some of her best memories were attending the two home playoff games with her daughters in 2024. They know she will be there in spirit when the Lions win it all.

News of her passing prompted an outpouring of grief from NFL fans and the wider sports community. One fan wrote, "Hard to find words today. Heartbroken for Dan Miller and his family. Praying for all of them. May Cindy rest in peace." Another added, "Heartfelt condolences. Cancer is cruel. Thinking of Dan and his family today." A third shared, "Hard to find a better family. Heartbroken. Cindy put up such a courageous fight. Prayers for all the Millers."

The loss of Cindy Miller is a painful reminder of the personal battles that often unfold behind the scenes in the sports world. It echoes the recent Lakers mourning legendary announcer Lawrence Tanter, another instance where a franchise and its fans united in grief over a beloved figure.

As the Lions organization and its supporters rally around Dan Miller and his family, the impact of Cindy's life and spirit will not be forgotten. Our thoughts are with her friends and family during this difficult time.

May she rest in peace.
