While New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart has been navigating the stormy waters of NFL controversy, his girlfriend Marissa Ayers has been making waves of her own—on the runway at Miami Swim Week.
Ayers, who's been dating the Giants signal-caller, turned heads over the weekend while strutting her stuff for White Fox Boutique. She shared a sizzling snapshot on her Instagram Story, rocking a purple swimsuit that had fans doing double takes. "Walking my first runway show," she captioned the post, clearly soaking up the moment.
Dart, meanwhile, has been dealing with a different kind of heat. Last Friday, he introduced President Donald Trump at a campaign event at Rockland Community College—a move that sparked immediate backlash online. During OTAs, Dart addressed the media, explaining his decision with a measured tone. "This was a unique opportunity," he said. "I've always loved this country. I have extended family members who have fought in wars. I have two uncles who have retired from the Air Force Academy. And I have a great grandfather who served as Secretary of Treasury. So the president position has always been a position that I have always respected, regardless of political affiliation."
Dart acknowledged the scrutiny that comes with being the face of the Giants franchise. "I also understand that I am the quarterback of the New York Giants, and that involves a lot of responsibility. It's under a limelight, under a microscope," he added. "Most importantly, I can honestly say that I love every single one of my brothers, my teammates on this team regardless of politics, regardless of religious beliefs. I love them and they know exactly what kind of person that I am."
The controversy hasn't dampened Ayers' shine, though. While Dart fielded questions from reporters, she was living it up in Miami, representing one of the hottest brands in swimwear. The contrast between the two worlds—NFL drama and high-fashion glitz—couldn't be more striking.
Trump himself waded into the fray on Saturday, posting a photo of Dart and Ayers on Truth Social with a message aimed at the quarterback's critics. "Thank you Jaxson! It was great being with you," Trump wrote. "I know you're taking some heat from the Radical Left Lunatics who are jealous of you, me, and everyone who surrounds us but, I also know that your Jersey also went to Number One, and you're making Millions of Dollars so, YOU ARE A WINNER — THEY ARE ALL LOSERS. I'll see you in the White House!"
The president's endorsement only added fuel to the fire, but it also raises the question: Could we see Trump at a Giants game this fall? Stranger things have happened in the NFL.
As Dart continues to stand firm on his decision and Ayers enjoys her moment in the spotlight, the couple is proving they can handle the pressure—on and off the field. Meanwhile, Giants fans have plenty to talk about, from the quarterback's political stance to trade rumors involving Abdul Carter that have been heating up.
For now, though, all eyes are on Ayers' runway debut—and the purple swimsuit that stole the show.
