Another week, another officiating firestorm in Dallas. Cowboys fans are seeing red after a critical holding penalty wiped out a huge third-down conversion late in Sunday's loss to the Baltimore Ravens, and they're not staying quiet about it.

The controversial flag was just the latest in a string of calls that had America's Team faithful reaching for the rulebook. Earlier in the game, a questionable pass interference penalty on cornerback DaRon Bland raised eyebrows, and a tough fumble call on tight end Jake Ferguson added fuel to the fire.

But the holding call on the third-down play is the one that really stung. Fans quickly pointed to Rule 12, Section 1, Article 3, Note 1.i), which states that offensive holding should not be called if a defensive player uses a rip technique that forces the blocker into a position that resembles a hold.

"Not sure how this is a hold when he rips," one frustrated fan wrote. "Killer call."

Another added: "Just another brutal call. This has been in the NFL for years now and it took away a huge conversion."

The rip technique is near and dear to Cowboys fans' hearts — they watched Micah Parsons use it countless times without drawing a flag. "I said this during the live stream," one fan recalled. "Rips NEVER get called for holding. We saw it 8,000 times with Micah's rip technique. It is not a penalty. But it was last night."

The anger didn't stop there. Some fans claimed there were as many as five questionable calls against Dallas, including a missed offside on a blocked field goal. "Yet another missed/terrible call from yesterday," one fan vented. "So 3 DPIs, a missed offside on blocked FG, and this. Honestly, Cowboys should just compile video of all of those and petition the loss as a NC."

The officiating drama comes amid a rocky start to the season for Dallas, and it's only adding to the frustration. With their Super Bowl odds plummeting, fans are demanding answers — and some are even calling for accountability from the coaching staff after a series of late-game blunders.

Head coach Brian Schottenheimer has already taken responsibility for some of the team's struggles, admitting he needs to call better plays in crunch time. But for many fans, the officiating is the bigger issue — and they're not letting it go.

The Cowboys will try to move past the controversy in Week 4 when they hit the road to face the Houston Texans. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET on Sunday. Whether the calls even out or the frustration boils over again, one thing is certain: Dallas fans will be watching closely.
