Kim’s latest post comes after an emotional rollercoaster at the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics. The 25-year-old American fell short of a third consecutive gold in the women’s halfpipe, finishing behind South Korea’s Choi Gaon. But Kim showed true class by immediately congratulating her rival on Instagram, writing, “Congratulations to @mitsukiono, I am so in awe of you and your style. I’ve admired you since our lead up into the Beijing games.”
She also opened up about the mental battle she faced leading into the Games. “A month ago, I wasn’t even sure if I’d be able to compete. I was in the darkest space mentally and felt so much fear coming back. To land my run in my first final of the season was the most rewarding and validating thing I’ve ever experienced,” Kim shared.
Now, with the Olympics behind her, Kim is enjoying some well-earned downtime — and spending it with her boyfriend, NFL star Myles Garrett. The couple has been traveling together, and Kim even reposted Garrett’s heartfelt farewell letter to Cleveland after the Browns shocked the league by trading him to the Los Angeles Rams.
Garrett’s move to L.A. came in a blockbuster deal that sent Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick, a 2028 second-round pick, and a 2029 third-round pick to Cleveland. In his goodbye message, Garrett wrote, “Cleveland made me tougher. You challenged me. You taught me about perseverance, about showing up even when things aren’t easy, and what loyalty really looks like.”
