Charissa Thompson is making it clear that her boyfriend needs to take notes from Travis Kelce. The popular Fox Sports and Amazon Prime host admitted she's been feeling a little jealous after watching the Chiefs tight end and pop superstar Taylor Swift's public displays of affection.
During a recent interview with PEOPLE at Amazon Upfronts, Thompson didn't hold back when talking about the power couple. "It's just been fun watching their love story from afar and upfront," she said. "And I always say to my boyfriend after we see them, I'm like, 'You should love me more.' Because they love each other so much and it's so beautiful to see."
Thompson's boyfriend, Steven Cundari, might want to step up his game after that playful jab. The NFL host has been a vocal supporter of Kelce and Swift's relationship from the very beginning. In fact, she and her colleague Erin Andrews were among those who encouraged Kelce to make a move on Swift.
"We've obviously always advocated and hoped that they would fall in love and live happily ever after," Thompson added. "And it actually happened!"
The couple is expected to tie the knot in New York City this July, and Thompson remembers exactly where she was when she heard the news. "I was at my ranch. I have a ranch where I rescue animals," she explained. "I don't normally have my phone with me all the time when I'm up there. It's one of the luxuries of being up there is going off the grid. But I happened to be in the kitchen and Erin and I were texting about it because we found out at the same time."
Thompson's admiration for the couple goes beyond just entertainment. She sees their relationship as something genuinely inspiring. "It's just been fun watching their love story from afar and upfront," she repeated, emphasizing how much joy it brings her to see both of them happy.
While Thompson might be calling out her boyfriend, it's all in good fun. She's clearly thrilled for Kelce and Swift as they prepare for their wedding. The Chiefs will kick off the 2026 regular season in September, but for now, all eyes are on the couple's upcoming nuptials.
