Alex Rodriguez is back on the singles scene. The former New York Yankees legend and his fitness model girlfriend, Jaclyn Cordeiro, have officially parted ways, TMZ Sports confirmed Thursday.

The 50-year-old baseball icon and the 46-year-old Canadian bodybuilder have been broken up for about two months, sources say. There's no drama here—just two people who decided to go their separate ways with plenty of mutual respect.

Youth Umpire Stands Firm: No Regrets Over Viral Ejection of Coach
Jameson Morris, a high school umpire, went viral for ejecting a coach who protested walkup music. He's not apologizing, and fans are praising his composure.

Cordeiro, a professional bodybuilder and fitness coach, confirmed the news directly to TMZ Sports. She asked for privacy as she deals with a serious health issue involving a family member.

“To clarify, Alex and I are currently taking some time apart but there continues to be mutual love, care, and deep respect between us and for our families. We remain supportive of one another, and there is absolutely no animosity, drama, or negative story here,” Cordeiro said in a statement.

“I’m also navigating a serious health matter involving a family member at this time, so my focus is understandably there. Alex and I continue to be very close, and out of respect for everyone involved especially our daughters and loved ones and I’d kindly ask that any reporting reflects the compassion and privacy this situation deserves.”

The couple started dating in 2022 and were often spotted together at high-profile events, including NBA playoff games and charity galas. Their split marks the end of a relationship that lasted just shy of four years.

Rodriguez, who won a World Series with the Yankees in 2009, has been in the spotlight for his on-field heroics and high-profile romances. He previously dated Jennifer Lopez and is now navigating life at 50 without a partner by his side.

Cordeiro, known for her sculpted physique and motivational fitness content, has a loyal following of her own. The breakup appears to be a quiet, mature decision rather than a tabloid-worthy blowup.

Neither party has indicated any interest in rekindling the romance anytime soon. For now, both are focused on their families and careers.

As for A-Rod, the dating world just got a whole lot more interesting. At 50, he's still one of the most recognizable faces in sports—and now he's single again.
